Safran

Taliouine saffron is known as Red Gold: some 150,000 hand-picked flowers and four hundred hours of work yield a single kilogram. It grows on the Souktana plateau, between 1300 and 1500 metres, in the oldest cultivation area in Morocco.

Rich in carotenoids — crocin and crocetin — with remarkable free-radical scavenging properties, plus B vitamins, amino acids, strongly hydrating polysaccharides and antioxidant flavonoids. That antioxidant strength makes it ideal for anti-age care on mature skin.
