What data we process
- Orders: name, delivery and billing address, e-mail, phone, products purchased. Card details are processed by the payment provider, not by us.
- Customer account: e-mail, name and order history. You sign in with a code sent by e-mail, without a password.
- Professional registration: company name, VAT number and business address.
- Newsletter: e-mail address and consent, until you unsubscribe.
- Contact: whatever you write to us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, including to book a treatment.
- Technical data: IP address, date and page requested, logged by the server for security and kept for a short time.
Why we process it
To conclude and fulfil orders, manage your account, answer your requests, send you the newsletter if you asked for it, protect the site and meet our legal obligations, in particular keeping accounting records for ten years.
Who we share it with
Only those we need to serve you: Shopify (platform for the shop and checkout, Shopify International Ltd., Ireland), payment providers, Swiss Post for delivery and the company hosting the site. Shopify may also process data in Canada and the United States, with the safeguards required by Swiss data protection law. The map on the About page is provided by Google. If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's (Meta's) terms also apply. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
For as long as the purpose we collected it for requires; order data for ten years, as the law requires.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or receive your data in a readable format, and you may object to its processing or withdraw your newsletter consent. Write to info@arganiae.ch, 078 627 28 65. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
